I have the greatest job on earth for sure. Following around a very mobile 10 month old is hilarious and exhausting as any mom would know. Finding focus has been a challenge lately- especially because any amount of concentration is broken when saying "no!" to the electric-socket bound crawler/almost walker! Even the positive interruptions like my little guy crawling up to me and reaching out to find out that all he wants is a HUG!
How does one find a focus or passion outside of raising an active little guy? I have to save some of this for Kevin, so that leaves very little for others or myself. But I see other parents do this with ease and I am determined to figure out how.
Kev has recently been playing a ton better -especially his mental game with golf. I am glad I have no time to worry about our surviving situation (what is next after q-school type thoughts)... but I have a re-newed belief that he can achieve all his dreams. There was a reason for his 3 year escape to the dark side. Out of this came Davis. If he had been traveling like he had, he would have missed 80% of Davis' first year. We may not have even had the chance to go through fertility treatments successfully with a hard travel schedule! So it is all coming together for the first time as to the "reasons" and seasons" of our life. These things are finally coming into focus!
