Traveling with Kev

This is one of my favorite pictures of Kev and D... they both were having a ball hiking with the Cassini's in Highlands, NC. The Cassini's are "center" for Kev and I. Somehow God puts people in your life that you just know you will grow old together. You may not see them everyday, or even talk to them everyday.... but they are "center" for your soul!

The traveling has officially stepped up to a new level with Kev. Davis and I survived our first commercial plane ride with a few dark screamy scary moments but got to Wichita in one piece.

I am always learning new "do's and don'ts" with my little man:

1) Bring enough food on the plane for a month

2) Never fly commercial if at all possible

3) PRAY for moms, grandmas or uncle Brians in the seat next to you (rather than a very serious businessman)

4) If the kid poops, just forget changing him in the 1x2 bathroom... not worth it- you will never see anyone on that plane again hopefully

5) FLY IN THE EARLY MORNING

After arriving in Wichita, Kev played great and only missed the Monday Q by one... MUCH improved- especially his attitude! I am actually taking lessons from him. I hate cliche's but attitude really is everything I am learning. I have allowed myself some "over-tired-induced" pity-party moments, but just about nothing comes from them and it is no fun for anyone. Traveling has begun full force again for Kev and I, and the new challenge is maintaining sanity while toting a little sweet man.
